The Postal Service filed its competitive products price changes with the Postal Regulatory Commission, setting an effective date for the new rates on January 21, 2024, the same date as its market-dominant product price changes. Overall, USPS Ground Advantage prices would increase by 5.4 percent, Priority Mail service prices would increase by 5.7 percent, and Priority Mail Express service prices would increase by 5.9 percent. International products would be in the 5.4 percent to 6.4 percent on average price increase range. However, international shippers might see a variance from the average depending on lane, weight, and product used.
The full filing can be found on the PRC website and the rate sheets are on Postal Explorer. Many IMAG members await specifics on how the published rates impact their contract rates.
