The Universal Postal Union provides the following information, via bpost, about rotating industrial action that will affect delivery service:
From: UPU.EmIS Sent: Tuesday, November 6, 2018 6:23 AM Subject: [EXTERNAL] EmIS 115/2018 – Belgium – Strike Importance: High
The designated operator of Belgium, bpost, asks us to inform the designated operators of UPU member countries that, owing to the rotating industrial action announced by the trade unions, taking place between 7 and 13 November 2018, postal service in Belgium is expected to be heavily disrupted during that period, impacting inbound and outbound operations as well as domestic deliveries.
bpost thanks designated operators for their understanding and will inform them once the situation returns to normal.
