PRC OKs USPS Price Changes
The Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) issued its order late Friday approving the Postal Service's proposed rate and classification changes to certain competitive products, with an effective date of July 9. The already-approved changes to market-dominant rates will also take effect on July 9. The competitive services price filing (Docket CP2023-151) featured rate and classification changes to accommodate the Postal Service's new domestic Ground Advantage service. The filing also included changes to prices for a handful of International Ancillary and Special Services:
International Certificate of Mailing
Competitive International Registered Mail
Outbound International Return Receipt
Clearance Delivery Fee.
