The Universal Postal Union has announced that at least two-thirds of its members voted in support of convening an Extraordinary Congress on the terminal dues system. The Extraordinary Congress will take place September 24-25 in Geneva.

The decision on whether to hold the Extraordinary Congress required that two-thirds of the UPU’s member countries vote in support of the event.
