Disruption in Israel's Postal Services

The Israel Postal Company, via the Universal Postal Union, has provided the following information about interruptions and delays in the south of Israel.

The designated operator of Israel, Israel Postal Company, asks us to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that, due to the security situation, there have been interruptions and delays in the distribution and collection of mail (letter post, parcels and EMS) in the south of Israel since Saturday, 4 May 2019.

Israel Postal Company thanks all member countries and their designated operators for their understanding. It will update them via EmIS once the situation has returned to normal.
